Support & shops
Tell us about the car and what you're after. A real tuner reads every message and answers by email, usually with the exact parts or steps you need.
Getting ready to flash
- A Windows 10 or 11 laptopThe TuneZilla Portal app runs on Windows 10 or 11 only. Mac and tablets aren't supported for flashing.
- The TuneZilla Portal appInstall it and register your FlashZilla Pro at portal.tunezilla.com before the day you flash.
- The right USB cableUse a USB-A to USB-C cable. USB-C to USB-C cables don't work with the device.
- Internet, then optional offlineYou need a connection to download your tune. Tunes already in your library can be flashed offline.
- Controllers back to stockEvery ECU and TCU must be on factory software before its first FlashZilla Pro flash.
Some gearbox calibrations also need clutch values reset afterwards with VCDS, OBD11 or similar. When yours does, the build page lists the exact steps.
Before you order
- Check the hardware list your build produces, and tell us how you're covering each required item.
- If your build needs a control module prepared before flashing, the configurator says so and sells the module. Installation labor is not included.
- Not sure which engine variant you have? Send us the car's VIN and we'll point you at the right application.
Finding a shop
Some hardware you can fit at home; some you shouldn't. We don't operate installation bays and we don't certify third-party shops. What we can do is tell you exactly what work a configuration needs, in plain terms you can hand to any competent shop.
Where a module swap is part of the path, that visit happens before the flash, not after.
Legal and mechanical reality
Emissions-related hardware and calibration changes are not legal for road use everywhere in the United States. Where a calibration touches emissions equipment, we say so, and the responsibility for how the vehicle is used is yours.
We don't promise fuel savings, and a higher stage is not automatically the right answer. Some stages are explicitly not recommended for towing, and the configurator flags it right on the stage.
